The Powermatic 25-Inch Wide Belt Sander is engineered for production environments that require accurate thickness control, consistent surface finishes, and long-term reliability. Centralized controls place all key functions within easy reach, while the digital thickness readout allows operators to monitor finished dimensions or preset target thickness with precision. An integrated auto thicknesser captures the starting thickness of each workpiece, streamlining setup and reducing trial passes. A pneumatic sensor system controls sanding belt oscillation to ensure uniform belt tracking and even abrasive wear across the full sanding width. The variable-speed feed conveyor allows operators to dial in feed speed based on material type and finish requirements. A three-motor drive system independently powers the sanding drums, feed conveyor, and table elevation for smooth operation under continuous loads. For added safety, an integrated disc brake enables rapid machine stoppage in emergency conditions. Like all Powermatic machines, the WB-25 is backed by a 5-year warranty.
